Digital Tachograph

Our chamber has started to receive applications related to driver, service and company cards used in digital tachographs.

Pursuant to protocol signed between Turkey Chambers and Stock Exchanges Union and Ministry of Maritime Transport and Communications dated 16.04.2010, Our Chamber has started to receive applications for the use of drivers, service and company cards and their related services for use in the digital tachographs specified in the Regulation on Tachograph Devices Used in International Road Transport Vehicles.

Driver Digital Tachograph Card Application and Distribution Process

Who can apply to the DRIVER CARD?

• Drivers with driver's license and SRC certificate may apply.

• The application must be carried out by the driver in person.

Pre-Application Process:

Drivers can make internet application http://staum.tobb.org.tr, without going to the application centre to make the pre-application.

The following information is entered in the electronic environment.

Driver Information:

• T. R. Identification number

• Mobile phone

• Contact address

• Email Address (Optional)

• Applied chamber

• 3rd person who can receive the Card

Driver's License Information:

• License No - If the License Number is less than 7 digits, 0 (Zero) is entered.

• City/Town Issues

•Date of issue

•Card Serial Number

Procedures and Applications to be Made by the Driver after the Pre-Application Process is Completed are as follows:

After the preliminary application process is completed, drivers make the payment of the card fee to T.C. Vakıflar Bankası branches as 130 TL (One Hundred Turkish Liras).

After the payment process is completed, the drivers will go to the application centre stated during the preliminary application and perform the application procedures.

The following documents must be available when going to the relevant Chamber of Commerce and/or Industry to perform the driver card application. 

• Original and copy of driver's license

• Original and copy of identity card

• Receipt

• Biometric photo (1 x 3.5 x 4.5 size) - Photos taken for visa, background will be white.

SRC Original or e-devlet printout

Distribution Process:

• The envelope is delivered to the driver by the Chamber authority.

• The envelope is provided with the driver card, the A-2 Digital Tachograph System Driver Card Delivery Record and the A-3 Digital Tachograph System Driver Card Information Form.

• The driver and the relevant Chamber of Commerce and/or Industry shall sign the A-2 Digital Tachograph System Driver Card Delivery Record.

Service/Company Digital Tachograph Card Application and Distribution Process

Who can apply to the service card or company card?

The services authorized by the Ministry of Industry may apply to service card.

• The company may apply to the company card for domestic or international road transport.

• The application is carried out personally by the service/company representative.

• Service/Company representative means a service/company employee authorized in the Signature statement or the service/company authorized by the power of attorney to obtain the digital tachograph service/company card.

Pre-Application Procedures:

Service/company official is required to do pre-application via http://staum.tobb.org.tr internet address.

The following information is entered in the electronic environment.

Service/Company Information:

• Commercial title

• Tax Office and Number

• Authorization Certificate Number and Date of Validity

• E-mail address

• Contact Address and Phone

Application Information:

• Number of Card Applications

• Applied chamber (Chamber info cannot be changed after preliminary application)

• Application Reason.

Procedures by the Service/Company Officer after the preliminary application process is completed:

• After the pre-application process is completed, a total card fee of 400 TL (Four hundred Turkish Lira) is paid to the branches of T.R Vakıflar Bank by specifying the payment number.

• After the completion of the payment process, the service/company representative goes to the application centre stated during the pre-application and performs the application procedures.

Application Documents:

The following documents must be accompanied by the service/company representative when going to the relevant Chamber of Commerce and/or Industry to implement the service/company card application.

• Signature statement and copy

• The original and copy of the power of attorney (if the name of the service representative is not mentioned in the Signature statement, the power of attorney is requested).

• Original Chamber Registration Certificate, 

• Copy of Tax Statement

• Copy of Authorization Certificate

• Original and copy of the Identity Card of the person who will sign the application.

• Receipt

• Service Stamp

Distribution Process:

• A card envelope is delivered to the service/company representative by the Chamber officer.

• In card envelope, service/company card, C-2 Digital Tachograph System Service Card Delivery Report/D-2 Digital Tachograph System Company Card Delivery Report and C-3 Digital Tachograph System Service Card Information Form/C-3 Digital Tachograph System Company Card Information Form.

• The service/company official and the relevant CHAMBER representative signs the C-2 Digital Tachograph System Service Card Delivery Record/D-2 Digital Tachograph System Company

Card Delivery Record.
