A person who operates a business in his own name, even partially, is called a merchant (Article 12 of the Turkish Commercial Code). The real person consists of the first and last name of the merchant's commercial name without being abbreviated. Addition can be made to the name and surname in accordance with Article 46 of the Turkish Commercial Code. In the title, multiple attachments, the names of others and foreign words should not be used to create the impression that it is a partnership.
“Our Commercial Registry Directorate has been included in the MERSIS system, all company registrations and registered members are required to apply all registration applications via the MERSİS system. You can use the address http://mersis.gumrukticaret.gov.tr/ for MERSİS applications.”

The opening date of the company to be declared in your application and the start date of the tax office should be the same.

4. Chamber registration statement

      •    The photos of the applicant must be affixed to the declaration
      •    Should be written in the computer or typed and signed by the applicant 

5. Covenant

  • 1 original, 1 copy
  • (It must be a covenant taken from the Mersis system, notary public approval is not required).


6. A copy of the tax certificate

  • 1 approved original
7. Chamber Member ID Card request petition
