Renewal Of K Type Authorization Certificates (Five Year Time Extension)

Companies are required to apply to our Chamber for renewal of “K” authorization documents for 5 (five) years extension period in accordance with the provisions of the Road Transport Regulation.

 Renewal process of authorization documents

ARTICLE 19 - (1) Authorization Certificate holders may apply in writing to the Ministry ninety days before the expiration date of the Authorization Certificate for the renewal of the authorization certificates. The Authorization Certificate is renewed based on the date the renewal fee was paid. The renewal fee must be paid before the expiry date of the Authorization Certification and as a valid renewal fee on the date of payment.

(2) In case of written application to the Ministry within 540 calendar days from the end of the validity period of the Authorization Certificate for the renewal of the authorization certificates by the Authorization Certificate holders; The Authorization Certificate is renewed based on the date the renewal fee was paid. The renewal fee must be paid within the 540 days’ period and as the current renewal fee on the payment date.

(3) In the event that the Authorization Certificate holders do not apply within the periods specified in the first and second paragraphs after the expiry of the validity period of the Authorization Certificate, or the requirements of the Authorization Certificate renewal are not met, the right to renew the Authorization Certificate shall be forfeited.

(4) The Authorization Certificate shall not be renewed without the conditions stipulated in this Regulation for the Authorization Certificate before all warnings on the Authorization Certificate are removed.

(5) The periods specified in Article 14 for the renewed authorization documents shall be resumed without consideration of the periods used before the renewal.

(6) In order to renew the Authorization Certificate according to this article; Authorization Certificates must not be terminated or cancelled under this Regulation.

(7) The term contained in the second paragraph shall only be applied to renew the Authorization Certificate, and this period shall not grant such persons the right to operate. An administrative penalty shall be imposed on those who violate this clause in the amount specified in paragraph (a) of the first paragraph of Article 26 of the Law.
